BOOMERANG SNACK BAR   NEW

Snack Bar Opened - 1956
….Mrs. Dot Varey announced the opening of the Boomerang Snack Bar in the Rural Supplies building opposite the Post Office.
Airy and light and decorated in modern style and colour, the premises are most inviting and this coupled with Mrs Varey's well known skill in culinary art, makes the new business a welcome addition to the town.
In a press statement Mrs.Varey said that while the business was in its infancy trading hours would be from 11 am to 2 pm and from 4 p.m. onwards except on Thursdays when she wil be open right through the day.
